My Dad has worked all his life and has a pension but has few years left on mortgage and has to work,?

but unfortunately he has diabetes and has a really bad infection on his leg and is a bad way, he does contract work so he can finish paying his mortgage for the next 3 yrs, is there anything we can claim or do plz, he is 67 x
